Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account
Relationship Data: Information about your contacts, interactions, and notes that you choose to store in DoFo
Google Account Data: When you connect your Google account, we access your calendar events and email data to provide our services
Voice Data: Audio recordings when you use voice input features, which are processed to extract text and then deleted

Google API Services
DoFo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google OAuth Scopes We Request
When you connect your Google account, DoFo requests the following permissions:
1. Google Calendar (calendar scope)
What we access: Your calendar event titles, dates, times, and attendee names
How we use it: To display recent meetings in DoFo and ask "Who did you meet?" so you can log interactions with contacts
What we store: Only event titles, dates, and attendee names for events you choose to log
What we do NOT do: We do not modify, delete, or create calendar events
2. Gmail Read Access (gmail.readonly scope)
What we access: Email subject lines, sender names, and message previews
How we use it: To display your recent emails when you ask "read my emails" or "show emails from [contact]" in the AI chat
What we store: We do NOT store email content. Emails are fetched in real-time and displayed only during your session
What we do NOT do: We do not archive, export, or permanently save your email content
3. Gmail Send Access (gmail.send scope)
What we access: Ability to send emails on your behalf
How we use it: Only when you explicitly request to send an email through DoFo's AI chat (e.g., "send email to John saying...")
What we store: We may log that an email was sent (recipient and timestamp) for your activity history
What we do NOT do: We never send emails automatically or without your explicit instruction
4. Gmail Modify Access (gmail.modify scope)
What we access: Ability to mark emails as read
How we use it: To mark emails as read when you view them through DoFo
What we store: Nothing related to email modifications
What we do NOT do: We do not delete emails, move them to folders, or modify their content
5. User Profile (userinfo.email, userinfo.profile scopes)
What we access: Your Google account email address and display name
How we use it: To identify your connected Google account in DoFo settings
What we store: Your Google email address to link your OAuth tokens to your DoFo account
Limited Use Disclosure
DoFo's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
We only use Google data to provide and improve DoFo's relationship management features
We do NOT sell your Google data to third parties
We do NOT use your Google data for advertising or marketing purposes
We do NOT transfer your Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service (e.g., displaying data in your browser)
We do NOT use your Google data to train machine learning or AI models
Human access to your Google data is limited to security/abuse investigations, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent
AI and Data Processing
DoFo uses artificial intelligence services to:
Generate relationship suggestions and insights
Process natural language input and voice commands
Research publicly available information about your contacts
Your data may be processed by our AI service providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) solely for the purpose of providing DoFo's features. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including:
Encryption of data in transit and at rest
Secure session management
Regular security reviews and updates
Your data is stored securely and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
How to Delete Your Data
You have full control over your data:
Disconnect Google Account: Go to Settings → Google Accounts → Disconnect. This immediately revokes DoFo's access to your Google Calendar and Gmail data. OAuth tokens are deleted from our system.
Delete Your DoFo Account: Contact us at rahulkedia.work@gmail.com to request complete account deletion. We will delete all your data within 30 days.
We can no longer access your Google Calendar or Gmail
Previously logged interactions (from calendar events you chose to save) remain in your DoFo account unless you delete them
No cached email content is retained (emails are never stored)
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access and download your data
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and data
Disconnect your Google account at any time
Opt out of certain data processing activities
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Google: For calendar and email integration
Google Gemini: For AI-powered features and natural language processing
OpenAI Whisper: For voice transcription
Tavily: For web research capabilities
Children's Privacy
DoFo is not intended for use by children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
